The surprising one thing you can do to spark your creativity

Many thing had changed in our lives with the ongoing pandemic, but in the midst of all this mess, we all have more free time.  Either you are out of work, either you work from home.  Even if your home is now your office, you probably had long daily commute to your job  which is now freed up. Yaay!

Are you excited? I am.  If you are like me, you probably have lots of creative ideas and....lots of half finished projects laying around and weighing on your subconsciousness.

You cannot start anything new until you finished "THAT" thing that you had started 6 months ago and never finished and now you don't even remember most of the details that are essential to complete that project. Right?

The truth is that you don't even like anymore the color, or the style.  You evolved, you moved on.

Hereby,  I give you the permission to throw that half finished thingy in the garbage.  Yes, you read it right.  It is ok to change your mind, or abandon something that doesn't suit you anymore.  What is not ok is that anything that you don't let go, because of guilt, or self obligation will hinder your creativity, it will keep you procrastinating of starting anything new and most importantly it will be a barrier between you and joy.

So today, go through that drawer, or box, say thank you to that project for being with you and then give yourself permission to get rid of it.

You have to let go of the old to let in the new and decluttering is the sure way to invite inspiration and creativity.

Comment below and let me know what had you let go and what is your new project that excites you now.
